Pamela Schuur began her legal career in
1985 as a litigation attorney for the Internal Revenue Service District
Council's office in Laguna Niguel. She was a partner at Vandenberg,
Newell, Curtis, Nelson & Schuur in Long Beach for 17 years, before founding
her own firm in Orange County. |

Ms. Schuur received her Bachelor's Degree in Business
Administration
from the University of Southern California in 1981 and her Juris Doctor
degree from Whittier College School of Law in 1985. She was admitted to practice law by the California Supreme
Court in 1985, the U. S. Tax Court in 1986,
the U.S. Federal District Court in 1987 and the U. S. Supreme Court in 2000.
Pamela handles complex Trust, Probate and Conservatorship matters, and she
represents several private professional fiduciaries handling estates valued at over
30 million dollars. She also serves as a professional administrator and
trustee for large estates, is registered as a private professional
conservator & trustee with the Department of Justice and is a member of
the Professional Fiduciary Association of California.
Ms. Schuur was the president of the Long Beach Bar Association in 1999 and the Women Lawyers of Long Beach in 1995.
In 2000 she was honored by Soroptomist International as a Woman of
Distinction and received Lawyer of the year from Women Lawyers of Long
Beach.
Ms. Schuur has also served on several boards including the Long Beach Bar
Foundation, American Inns of Court, California Women Lawyers, and the Junior
League of Long Beach.
She is also a member of the Orange County Bar Association, American Bar
Association, the Estate Planning and Trust Council of Long Beach, and
attended the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. |
